At UPBEAT centre, Safety is our keyword and our trampoline park was designed with your safety in mind. Our world class trampolines are produced by a partner company of the International Association of Trampoline Parks (IATP), and exceeds the international standards for safety.

Guidelines And Precautions

We ask that you become familiar with and abide by the rules below. Watch our UPBEAT safety video while noting the signage at the safety zones of the trampoline park and around the facility. We want to make sure you participate and have fun safely.
Failure to adhere to any of these rules will result in the loss of your jump time. We don’t want that.
Please see below a couple of IMPORTANT rules we ask you kindly follow when you play.

One way to keep our jumpers safe is by surrounding our trampolines with soft but strong, 8-ft-high trampoline walls. These walls are strong enough that jumpers can bounce off them and back onto the trampoline floor.
Our trampolines have no exposed springs or gaps to fall through. All steel framework and springs are covered by the appropriate thickness of padded foam.
Our foam pit contains four feet of foam on top of a trampoline floor. Coaches are present at all times to ensure the safety rules are adhered to.
Anyone jumping at UPBEAT is required to wear our approved grip-socks designed to help maximize grip, to help maximize safety and general hygiene.
UPBEAT is striving to create the world’s best practice for trampoline safety. UPBEAT is working with Gymnastics in Nigeria to design the critical elements of our safety policies, programs and procedures. This has included the customer design of staff safety workshops and training programs.
All areas beside the trampolines that are not adjacent to a trampoline wall are at the same level as the trampoline floor and padded with soft foam.
Above the 8-ft high trampoline walls there is additional netting to keep jumpers within in the area. For added safety, netting is also used to surround the dodgeball, basketball, high performance and foam pit areas.
Coaches check the equipment on a regular basis to ensure all the equipment is in safe working order. Jumping areas within the park are supervised at all times by trained Upbeat staff who make sure safety rules are adhered to.
UPBEAT recruits staff that have significant experience in areas of gymnastics and associated sports and activities such as aerobics and sports coaching. Trained trampoline coaches will be positioned in all activity areas and are tasked with enforcing the rules in a courteous manner. Our team is trained in CPR and First Aid. international Standards
UPBEAT is striving to create the world’s best practice for trampoline safety. UPBEAT is working with Gymnastics in Nigeria to design the critical elements of our safety policies, programs and procedures. This has included the customer design of staff safety workshops and training programs.
One of our primary safety principles is ensuring jumpers do not attempt any activity beyond their skill level. Classes will be available for all levels of ability to help develop skills from learning to jump safely

Rules

DO (General)

  1. Read and complete an UPBEAT waiver from before using the park.
  2. Remove shoes/wear UPBEAT Socks only.
  3. Wear the valid-coloured wristband at all times during jumping
  4. Empty out your pockets and remove belt buckles,clothing studs,jwellery,key chains and sharp objects they are not permitted on the trampolines(lockers are provided)
  5. walk onto and off of the courts.
  6. Be in control of your body.
  7. Master the basics of single trampoline jumping before moving onto more advanced jumping skills for example,aerial of fliping.
  8. Bend your knees to stop your bounce.
  9. Bounce in the centre of the trampoline.
  10. Perform at your own risk.Flips and other tricks can be dangerous.
  11. Land on the closest trampoline when bouncing and flipping off trampoline side walls.
  12. Be aware of those around you and jump with people that are of similar age and/or size,mind the littler ones.
  13. Follow all trampoline park and facilities rules and the UPBEAT Team Member’s instructions.

DON’T (General)

  1. Land on your head or neck.
  2. Double bounce,run,wrestle or play rough
  3. If a guest enters your trampoline,discontinue,jumping untill the guest has exited your space.
  4. Attempt any skill or activity outside of your personal limitations,abilities,or shill level.
  5. Double flip.
  6. Do more than two single flip in a row.
  7. Have anything in your mouth(gum,candy,etc).
  8. Sit or lie on the court.If you are tired and need to rest,you must exit the court.
  9. Push,tackale,run on flat surfaces,race,or engage in horseplay of any kind.
  10. touch any perimeter netting or top pads.
  11. Throw balls at another jumpers head or neck area.
  12. Wear wet clothes or unapproved body paint.
  13. Jump if you have health concerns and if pregnant,seek permission from your doctor first
  14. Jump if an UPBEAT Team Member is not present.


  1. Do not dive into the pit head first.
  2. Exit the pit as soon as possible.
  3. Do not hide or bury yourself in the pit. Someone could land on you by mistake.
  4. No Backflips.
  5. Do not jump until it is clear and safe to do so.
  6. Remove all items from your pockets. If you lose something it cannot be found until there is scheduled maintenance.
  1. No head shots or kicking the ball is allowed.
  2. You are out if hit by a thrown ball.
  3. The Coachs decision is final when it comes to refereeing a Dodge Ball game.
  4. If you are out, please leave the court.
  5. You can deflect an incoming ball with one in your hands.
  6. Catching a ball thrown by an opponent before it touches the ground means that they are out.
  7. You are out if you touch the neutral zone.
  1. Stay in your lane.
  2. Do not hang off of the hoops or supporting equipment.
  3. One person per trampoline at a time.
